Malogoszcz’s low-carbon move

04 July 2025

The development of low-carbon cement plants worldwide relies on a range of carbon reduction technologies. At Holcim’s Malogoszcz plant in Poland, Sinoma International Intelligent Technology Co configured a new clinker line that is able to achieve a 90 per cent alternative fuel (AF) thermal substitution rate, and improves the plant’s environmental performance even further through the use of a waste heat recovery system. ByJiang Dawei and Wang Yu, Sinoma International Intelligent Technology Co Ltd, China.
