Oxy-fuel combustion for low-energy CCUS in cement plants

As carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) becomes a key technology to reduce carbon emissions in the cement industry, research into the best technology for the sector shows the benefits and challenges of oxy-fuel combustion. To that end, China’s largest domestic demonstration plant has been establised in Weifang, Shandong.
