Pushing kiln limits through next-gen refractory design

A major cement producer in Vietnam has demonstrated how advanced refractory engineering can support sustained production beyond a plant’s capacity under some of the industry’s harshest operating conditions. The case highlights how next-generation refractory solutions can maintain kiln stability and lining integrity under severe mechanical, thermal and chemical loads, while also addressing the evolving demands of alternative fuel usage and high thermal substitution rates.
