Dusty clinker: improving extreme heat conveying in Texas

In cement production, heat is both a necessity and a hazard. Due to the high temperatures achieved, every transfer point during cement production becomes a critical intersection of efficiency, safety and cost. At one Texas cement plant, a targeted effort to rethink material handling under extreme conditions resulted in improved worker safety, reduced maintenance demands and lower operational costs, proving that smarter engineering can deliver cooler, safer results.
