Al Ain cement factory
Plant tour
The Cemtech MEA programme includes a plant tour for registered delegates. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to visit Arkan Building Materials’ plant in Al Ain. Operating a cement capacity up to 4.5Mta, the facility was constructed by Sinoma in 2012 and has a 10,000tpd five-stage, twin-string preheater.
The plant tour will take place on Wednesday, 20 February, and is subject to availability.
INFORM workshop
INFORM will host a logistics workshop entitled 'Optimising Cement and Ready-Mix Logistics' on Tuesday, 19 February, during Cemtech MEA. The workshop aims to help the utilisation of logistical assets in cement and ready-mix markets. For more information, please visit the event page.
