Votorantim

The foundation stone has been laid for a second integrated works in the province of Mato Grosso. The annual cement capacity will be 1.2m tonnes and completion is planned for August, 2012.

Votorantim announced in April 2010 that it will invest BRL$5bn over 2007-2013 to construct seven new integrated plants and three new grinding stations in Brazil, raising capacity from 27Mta to 42Mta.
