Semen Indonesia - April 2013


Semen Indonesia, the country’s largest cement producer, has reported a 20.4 per cent rise in cement sales in 1Q13, up from 4.94Mt in 1Q12 to 5.95Mt. The rise has been credited to the company’s new plants, Tuban IV, which is now fully operational, and Tonasa V, which has only operated at about 70 per cent capacity but is due to be fully operational by February 2014.
