The wholly-owned subsidiary Lafarge Pakistan Cement, which operates a 2.4Mta cement works in Punjab increased turnover by seven per cent to the equivalent of US$105m and the net profit rose by 21.2 per cent. Domestic deliveries increased by 2.8 per cent to 1.2Mt, while exports declined by 8.5 per cent to 433,000t.
