The proposed merger with Lafarge in 2015 is likely to result in the sale of Holcim's operations in France, other than the Atkirch works and the operations in the Haut Rhin market, plus Hungary, Serbia, Canada and Mauritius. The future of the assets in The Philippines and Brazil has yet to be agreed with the competition authorities.
