UltraTech Cement - September 2015
UltraTech’s Awarpur plant in Maharasthra has been given Environment Ministry clearance to expand its capacity. The proposal will see cement capacity rise from 4.48Mta to 6Mta and clinker potential from 3.3Mta to 4.5Mta. Although the expansion will be carried out within the existing plant area, an additional 5.1MW of power is expected to be required.
