Anhui Conch - May 2016


China’s cement producers, such as Anhui Conch, will be breathing a sigh of relief at government plans to commit CNY4.7trn (US$720bn) to infrastructure projects over the next three years. Over 300 transport projects have been earmarked to receive funding including improvements to the country’s high-speed transport networks and inner-city links. Almost CNY77bn is being spent on aviation infrastructure including 11 key construction projects and 52 upgrades of existing facilities. The announcement forms part of the 2016-18 plan from China’s Ministry of Transport and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
