For the 9M16 Dangote has reported strong revenue and volume growth despite challenging conditions across Africa. Revenue advanced by 21 per cent to NGN442.1bn (US$1.4bn), compared to NGN365bn in the same period last year. Group cement volumes grew by 41 per cent to hit 18.4Mt, representing a 28.1 per cent improvement in the Nigerian market and a 72.9 per cent rise in the company’s Pan-Africa market. EBITDA slipped by 16.3 per cent to NGN178.4bn, compared to NGN213.2bn in 9M15.
