UltraTech Cement - April 2018
UltraTech has commissioned a new greenfield plant with a 2.5Mta clinker capacity in Manawar, Madhya Pradesh, India. The plant’s kiln is designed for multi-fuel and alternative fuel (AF) use, while the plant also features a 1.75Mta grinding unit and an auto-loading facility. This new works will take the company’s total cement production capacity to over 96Mta across 19 plants. A further 1.75Mta grinding unit and a 13MW waste heat recovery system are also currently under construction.
