LafargeHolcim's first-quarter turnover eased by 0.1 per cent to CHF5630m (EUR4895m), with the reduction amounting to six per cent when measured in euros. The Asia-Pacific region generated 32.5 per cent of group turnover, while Europe represented 26.8 per cent and North America 15.3 per cent. Latin America contributed 12.1 per cent and Africa/Middle East 13.3 per cent. Margins fell back from 14.2 per cent to 12.1 per cent and the underlying operating EBITDA came off by 7.7 per cent to CHF700m (EUR588m).
