China National Building Materials (CNBM) - July 2019

CNBM and Fives FCB have signed a cooperation agreement related to the Paris Agreement regarding climate change and the modernisation of CNBM’s installations. Under the agreement, Fives FCB will supply its Horomill® grinding technology for CNBM’s overseas and domestic projects, such as Zhonglian Cement and Southwest Cement. The Horomill technology is designed to considerably decrease the power consumption and CO₂ emissions of plants, as well as allowing for the production of a higher and more stable cement quality.

The agreement was signed at the 7^th Sino-French Industrial Cooperation Forum held in Chongqing, China, earlier this month. CNBM was represented by Ma Mingliang of China Building Materials Engineering Group and Wang Kedong of Zhonglian Cement, while Fives was represented by Didier Bourbon, vice president of sales (Asia).
