Arthur Harrisson
Arthur has been a regular, long-term contributor to International Cement Review. He trained as a geologist and worked in bulk minerals assessment for the British Geological Survey before being involved in cement technology, which has now been his occupation for over 30 years. As well as working for several major cement producers he has also worked as materials engineer, specifying concrete mixes and providing expertise for major projects such as Heathrow Express, the Hong Kong airport development and the Storebaelt Link. He now operates as a consultant offering technical training and practical problem solving as well as microscopic analysis from his facility in North Wales, UK.
