JADCO is a leading fabricator and supplier of impact resistant, wear resistant and abrasion resistant steel plate. QT Plus is our proprietary wear plate, and Chromeweld 600 our exclusive chromium carbide overlay steel. The goal is cost savings through design ingenuity. QT-PLUS Wear Steel. JADCO QT-PLUS® wear steel is a company exclusive, the result of a specific chemistry, combined with a unique thermal heat-treating process. The outcome is a premium quality grade of alloy steel unmatched in the industry, with up to 10 times the wear life compared to conventional mild steel. Although QT-PLUS® steel offers outstanding abrasion and wear resistance, parts manufactured from QT-PLUS® remain amazingly ductile. Fact is, QT-PLUS® combines the abrasion resistance of 500 bhn with the ductility of 400 bhn. CHROMEWELD 600 Wear Steel. JADCO Chromeweld 600 steel is a unique material with a chemistry that provides a surface designed especially for applications with severe problems of abrasion. Wear rates of Chromeweld have been shown to outlast most every material except ceramic. CHROMEWELD 600 plate is a mild steel backer plate clad with a series of Hypereutectic matrix overlay weld beads. The physical appearance of the plate will demonstrate numerous hairline cracks, which are a natural stress relief phenomenon. Screen Plates Jadco offers custom designed screen plates for efficient screening in a variety of applications, including mining/aggregate and general industry. These screen plates are produced with JADCO QT-PLUS® plate, providing up to 10 times the wear life of conventional carbon steel screens.
