ARM Cement, one of east Africa's major cement producers, recently installed a new kiln scanner to monitor the kiln shell of its Kaloleni plant near Mombasa, Kenya. With a scan angle of 140˚, the HGH Kilnscan was particularly suited to the equipment configuration at the plant, which allowed for only 10m of distance between shell and scanner.
