Chekka's new process core
Holcim upgrades the Simatic DCS in its Chekka plant, Lebanon, in record time with the help of Siemens Solutions Partner Esprocessing. The upgrade delivered a new control system to the Lebanese plant in a two-phase project that saw site work completed in less than three days.

In practice, the cement production process consists of many simultaneous and continuous operations employing some of the largest moving machinery used in manufacturing.
