Operating in Georgia since 2007, HeidelbergCement has seen its cement and concrete operations expand and work volumes grow. To help keep pace with its 24/7 production schedule at the company’s seven concrete production sites and two cement plants, a fleet of SDLG wheel loaders has been employed. Having entered the Georgia cement market some seven years ago, HeidelbergCement has established itself as the country’s leading cement and concrete producer. The company produces an average of around 1.7Mta of cement and clinker domestically. It also operates nine concrete plants at seven locations, with volumes averaging 880m3/h and a three-shift system is in place to maximise output.
