The art of separate grinding
The reduction of the clinker-to-cement ratio is one of the key strategies to decarbonise cement production. The use of vertical roller mills (VRMs) and separate material grinding systems can reduce this ratio by 10-15 per cent, according to the Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute.
