Let  me know please what is the different between precalciner and low NOx precalciner?

Turk,

A low NOx precalciner has staged combustion at different parts of the precalciner to create a zone with reducing conditions which destroys NOx formed in the burning zone of the kiln.

Dear Turk,

Adding to Dr.Clark's Point.The Residence time of inside the Loz Nox calciner would me comparitiviley more and thats what it is made for giving sufficient time to burn out almost whole NOx but with reduced burden (made by fuel feeding in stage by stage).

Any comments Dr.Clark?
