Abrasive resistant material

Dear all

Did anyone have experience of using  abrasive resistant coating materials for gas pipes (especially from clinker cooler to EP)?

Now I'm trying to elaborate such material for gas pipe. The material will work under up to 350 deg.

Thank  you

Re: Abrasive resistant material

There are many suppliers of such materials and many articles can be read in International Cement Review. The use of such materials is common practice in the industry.

max 350 degree is not high for a clad plate for highest abrasive resistance. We do recommend to use such plates, it will be for the pipe and coating together.

Re: Abrasive resistant material

Starting 1 mtr we use hydraulic castable after that the naked plate itself should be able  to with stand. And also the old alumina bricks crushed and mixed with some castable ....which we call as brick jelly also works for certain portion .
