Low NOx & High O2!!

Hey,

What do you think the reason of dropping the NOx In our 2000tpd kiln (with preheater and PC system) to 20 to 60 ppm and increasing the Oxygen to more than 4% (In cyclone 5 analyzer)? Our kiln design NOx is 600 to 800 ppm, and oxygen is 2%. To solve this problem ID fan speed was increased, kiln feed was reduced, and kiln speed also was increased but all these actions were useless.  what i cant understand is how NOx can be very low although and at the same time oxygen is veryyy high???

Best regard

Flame temperature.

Re: Low NOx & High O2!!

The most obvious answer would be to check the measurement of the NOx. These symptoms would be encountered if fresh air was leaking into the gas sample line.
