Dear Mr.BLM

You may compare the moisture and particle size distribution of the gypsum whic is currently used with the earlier one. Make some trials with both the gypsums for the same clinker in the lab ball mill jsut to have the comparative readings. You can also  increase the fineness for the time being, of course with slight compromise in mill production.

Thank you for responding, source of gypsum now & earlier i don't think that there will be difference in particle size of the gypsum. As you said we have already ground the same clinker with old and fresh gypsum (pelletized) and found marginal difference in IST i.e. 10 minutes excess in the cement ground with fresh gypsum.
