Gypsum Production

Dear All,

Have anyone ever been heard about the production of Gypsum using CaCO3 and H2SO4 for to be used in cement industry commercially.

Is the production cost is really feasible considering the high cost of acid.

Re: Gypsum Production

No, I've never heard of that. I doubt that it is economically feasible.

Very interesting. There must be some special circumstances to make it economical. Why not ask them?
