Physical
1.Compressive strength (Kgs./cm2) at 3,7 & 28 Days
2.Setting Time (minutes) Initial & Final
3.Expansion (a) Le-chatlier mm for early expn.(b) Autoclave % for delay expn.
4.Fineness (Blaines) cm2/gm.
Chemical
| Lime saturation factor = LSF = 100(CaO + 0.75Mg) / (2.85SiO2) + (1.18Al2O3) + (0.65Fe2O3) For MgO below 2% |
| Lime saturation factor = LSF = 100(CaO + 1.5Mg) / (2.85SiO2) + (1.18Al2O3) + (0.65Fe2O3) For MgO above 2% |
It means determination of Major oxides (1.silica 2.Alumina 3.Iron 4.Lime 5.Magnesia) and Minor oxides (6.Mangnese 7.Sodium 8.Potasium 9.Sulphur).
So, Physical 5 nos.and Chemical 9 nos. Total 14 Tests.
