Why it is necessary to maintain Mill Outlet Temperature in

1. Ball Mill  (as Raw Mill)

2. VRM (as Raw Mill)

3.COAL MILL ( as Ball Mill & VRM)

4. CEMENT MILL ( as Ball Mill)

By maintaining mill outlet temperature in all the 4 cases it is ensured that the moisture in the input materials is vented out of the system and thus the performance of the mill is not affected in terms of output.

If proper drying of materials is not done then there is formation of coating on the balls,internals resulting in to poor grinding efficiency.
