white cement

Dear Sirs

I would like to know from standards point of view if degree of whiteness of cement is specified , is it necessary also to limit the content of ferric oxide in white cement ?

Re: white cement

Dear lalbatros

I noticed that some national standards specify a limit for ferric oxide ranginging between 0.5 and 1.0% in addition to degree of whiteness , so the question is still there !

Re: white cement

Dear Hamza,

I don't see a question anymore, since you noticed the answer!
It might well be that some national standards have a limit on Fe2O3.
However, this limit would be redundant with the brigthness constraint,
as far as I understand.
It would be useful for this forum that you indicate which national standard is involved.
