ID FAN AND KILN RPM

friends... what is the relation of kiln rpm and id fan coupler increasing with kiln feed?

means with which ratio we can increase kiln rpm and id fan rpm by increasing  kiln feed?

Re: ID FAN AND KILN RPM

Kiln RPM should be varied to maintain constant volumetric filling % as per the prsent norms of 13-14% and Kiln ID fan flow rate should be changed to maiatian specific air at ID fan inlet around 1.4-1.5 Nm3/kg of clinker.

Re: ID FAN AND KILN RPM

With our precalciner kiln we get the best result (clinker reactivity) by operating the kiln close to max speed regardless of the production level.

If we lower the speed (because of lower production) the clinker tend to become harder and less reactive - the longer retention time affects nodule and probably crystal size.

However factors like nodule size, dust load etc. must be taken into consideration.

Concerning the speed of the ID fan I'd just target the usual oxygen level.
