Dear friends,

Liter weight measurment is being done in general - take two seives 5 mm hole size and 10 mm hole size, take clinker from the outlet of the clinker crusher and seived the material, fill the container of capacity one liter withe the clinker which is over the 5 mm sieve, reject the material over 10 mm and below 5 mm sieve material, weight of the container filled with clinker minus the empty weight of the container will give the liter weight of clinker.

Around 2- 3 Kgs. of clinker sample should be adequate for determining Litreweight parameter of clinker.For further details please go through my article Quality Control Clinker published in ICR August 2010 magzine.
