USE OF TYPE PYROLYSIS OIL INSTEAD OF HSD IN CEMENT KILN STARTUP

DEAR ALL

I WANT TO USE TYRE PYROLYSIS OIL FOR KILN HEAT UP INSTEAD OF NORMAL HIGH SPEED DEISEL .

I HAVE SEEN THAT THE CV OF BOTH IS ALMOST THE SAME BUT THE VISCOSITY IS HIGHER FOR THE TPO .

PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE FOR THE SAME.

I AM WORRIED IF I USE TPO INSTEAD OF HSD WITH THE SAME FIRING PUMP & OIL FIRING NOZZLE , WILL IT WORK OR NOT?

DO WE REQUIRE ADDITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR FIRING TPO ?

PLEASE SUGGEST

SIDHANT

re USE OF TYPE PYROLYSIS OIL INSTEAD OF HSD IN CEMENT KILN STARTUP

As we are using the HSD for kiln light up and we should ensure the immediate start up without any interruption.Pyrolysis Oil is waste oil from the tyre industry. When we used we faced the problem of water mixing with the oil and other impurities which clogs in the strainer.

Pl ensure the appropriate sampling method before unloading and have a separate feeding system.Pl don't mix in the HSD tank.

thanks

but we are planning to put oil in the mid heat up with the same set up of deisel tank & pump.

as enquired the moisture content in the TPO is around 0.75% max.

i think this water content will not disturb the oil firing flame nor it will block the nozzle holes etc.

please suggest the problems possible.
