Sulphur Balance

Hello,

I am carrying out a sulphur balance and my output is more than my input. Could anyone explain to me why this is so?

I have the following as my inputs,Kiln feed,coke and coal,Plastic and tires and my output as SO2 leaving the stack and SO3 in the clinker. I have converted everthing to S and using kg/h.

Am i missing something?

Dear,

Your input of total sulphur in mass % basic. than 95% to be go into clinker as out put.

If your process under control and kiln running smoothly.

Your may balance with gas phase due to  Sox exit from stack in place So2.

Correction factor is required for sulphur balance.
