Alexandria Cement sent a statement to Egyptian Stock Exchange about fire blaze in its BOD building stating that an armed group has attacked its plant in Al Max, Alexandria on 30 December 2011.

The firm assured that plant production is ongoing and added that its plant is committed to environmental standards.
