Ambuja Cements reported a rise of 7.3% in December 2011 cement production at 1.91Mt from 1.78Mt for December 2010. Meanwhile dispatches were at 1.93Mt compared with 1.82Mt, registering an increase of 6.04%.

For January-December 2011 period, cement production and dispatches were 20.96Mt and 20.95Mt respectively, compared with 20.12Mt and 20.12Mt respectively in the corresponding period last year
