Saudi Cement Co, Saudi Arabia’s second-largest cement producer by market value, awarded an insurance contract to Wataniya Insurance Co, the company said in a statement filed with the Saudi bourse, according to Bloomberg.
Wataniya will insure Saudi Cement’s “assets and possessions”, though the contract does not include medical insurance. The annual insurance premium is estimated at SAR8m (US$2.1m).
