Readymix PLC, an Irish cement company, has agreed the sale of certain non-core land assets at Cahir, County Tipperary to three independent purchasers and separately the disposal of assets at Ballitore, Co Kildare.

In consideration of transferring the assets at Ballitore, KTK Sand & Gravel Ltd have agreed to assume the ongoing liabilities of the company in respect of a number of royalty agreements.

Readymix said the transaction will not have a significant impact on the cash position of the company.
