India Nov cement output up 20% YoY, down 2% MoM
India’s cement production in November was 14.08Mt, up 20% from a year ago but down 2% from a month ago, data released by the Cement Manufactures Association showed.
Cement despatches rose 17% on year to 13.98Mt but fell five per cent on month.
In the current financial year that started April, India’s cement production has risen marginally to 112.80Mt, as against 108.67Mt last year. Despatches have also shown a tepid increase during Apr-Nov to 111.92Mt from 107.76Mt in the corresponding period last year.
