Brazil: Jan-November 2011 sales up 7.5 per cent
Preliminary data and market estimates reveal cement sales in Brazil during January to November 2011 reached 58.4Mt, up 7.5 per cent on the same period of 2010.
November 2011 sales stood at 5.5Mt, an increase of 6.6 per cent of on the same month of the previous year.
For the 12 months between December 2010 to November 2011, domestic sales were 63.2Mt, which represents an 8.2 per cent advance on the corresponding period a year earlier (December 2009 to November 2010). Published under Cement News
