Azerbaijan 10 month output increases 11.4%
Azerbaijan cement output reached 1.2Mt in the first 10 months of 2011, up 11.4 per cent up on the same period of last year.
Cement production reached 1.288Mt in 2010 and was 0.6% down in comparison with 1.28Mt were produced in 2009 and, in turn, were 19.7% down from 2008.
Garadagh Cement JSC is the principal cement producer in Azerbaijan with the a capacity of 1-1.4Mt, enough to meet 50 per cent of the annual demand.
