India’s Ultratech Cement on Wednesday reported nearly seven per cent decline in October sales at 3.187Mt over the same month last year.

The company had sold 3.42Mt of cement in October, 2010, it said in a statement.

Production during the month also declined to 3.27Mt compared to 3.47Mt in the same month last year.

Ultratech Cement’s sales during the April-October period of this fiscal stood at 21.8Mt and production at 21.668Mt.
