The company, part of the Holcim group, said production in October rose to 1.81Mt from 1.75Mt a year earlier.
Ambuja Cements, which follows January-December as accounting year, has posted a 12.5% rise in net profit at INR1.71bn in the third quarter (July-September) ended September 30, in fiscal year 2011. It had posted a net profit of INR1.52bn in the same period of the previous year, the company said in a statement.
