Shanxi Xishan Coal and Electricity Power and Huatong Bridge Group plan to set up a joint venture, Shanxi Xishan Huatong Cement, which plans to establish a cement works with a daily clinker capacity of 4500tpd. Once operational, the plant will be able to produce 1.4Mta of clinker and 2.26Mta of cement.
Annual profits are expected at around CNY115m on a revenue of CNY443m. The facility has a forecast breakeven period of 7.77 years.
