Suez Cement (part of the Italcementi Group) plans to invest €140m (US$191m) in a 120MW Egyptian wind farm that plans to start operations by the end of 2013.

A second phase of the wind farm will extend its capacity to 400MW. The project will cover the energy needs of plants owned by Suez Cement.
