Indian cement companies’ cumulative dispatches rose marginally by 0.2% to 12.71Mt in September from the same period last year, according to the Cement Manufacturers’ Association (CMA). Cement output also rose slightly by 0.4% YoY in September to 12.72Mt, according to CMA data.    

However, cement dispatches in September fell 6.8% and output was down 5.3% as compared with August data.

Cement dispatches during Apr-Sep rose 1.9 per cent YoY to 83.24Mt and output rose 1.8% to 81.22Mt.
