ACC, India’s second largest cement producer, reported a rise in September 2011 production to 1.67Mt, up 9.9% on the same month of the previous year (1.52Mt). Dispatches for the period also increased 9.5% YoY to 1.73Mt.

For the nine-months between January-September 2011, cement production was 17.76Mt, up 14% on the same period of last year (15.57Mt) and despatches 17.79Mt for the 2011 period which also represented a 14% YoY rise (15.59Mt).
