Holcim Malaysia Sdn Bhd expects a 20% increase in business from large and infrastructure projects next year, its CEO Mahanama Ralapanawa.

He pointed out that Malaysia is an expanding market with limited options for developers and government-linked companies to procure high-quality cement and concrete products.

"Holcim is well positioned as it is one of the most established and respected brands worldwide, while offering an array of quality products and services," he said in a statement.

He added that the company will focus on building awareness for its line of green products, which it plans to introduce and establish in the market in the last quarter of this year.

Holcim was involved in the construction of the Hydrocarbon Storage and Distribution Terminal at Tanjung Bin, Tanah Sutera Development project and Bahru Stainless steel plant at Tanjung Langsat.
