Holcim Holly Hill receives EPA’s 2011 Energy Star

Holcim (US) Inc announced that its plant in Holly Hill, SC, has earned the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star for superior energy efficiency for the second year running.

"I am honored to speak on behalf of all the dedicated employees at the Holcim Holly Hill plant," said Joe McFalls, Holly Hill plant manager. "Receiving the ENERGY STAR award for the second consecutive year is a reflection of their passion and commitment to protecting the environment."

Moreover, three other Holcim plants were named: Ste Genevieve in Bloomsdale (MO), Portland in Florence (CO) and Devil’s Slide in Morgan (UTH). While for Portland it was the first year, Ste Genevieve received its second Energy Star and Devil’s Slide was awarded the accolade for the fourth year running.
