Vietnam is estimated to have produced 39.3Mt of cement in the first eight months of this year. The figure represents a YoY rise of 10.7%, the government’s General Statistics Office said in its monthly report released Aug 26.

In August, the country’s cement output is estimated to have risen 15.7% from a year earlier to 5.3Mt.

The Ministry of Construction forecast Vietnam’s cement consumption to stand between 54.5Mt and 56Mt this year, up 9%-10% from a year earlier.
