With only half of the allocated development fund expected to be utilised in fiscal year 2011-12 along with a slowdown in export markets, Pakistan cement dispatches are expected to see an improvement of up to 10% to 33-35Mt in the current fiscal year.



Experts said that this would be despite the fact that some fresh demand of cement is also expected to arrive from flood-affected areas on account reconstruction activities. FY2012 has started on a positive note for the cement sector as its is expected the cement dispatches to improve by 10% in July 2011.
